Flipper 4
This is the last
guitar I made and shipped before leaving my old shop. A guess would be Fall
2006.
The instrument is a flat out beauty. Here are a few shots I took of it.....
"Tim and the last one out"
SPECS:
(This would be coming from memeory;)
-Chambered
Lacewood body with a beautiful Lacewood top.
-24 3/4" scale neck made of Walnut, Holly and Ebony with elaborite Dolphin
Inlay on Ebony fingerboard.
-Ebony and Holly binding.
-I believe the neck was 'set' not bolt on. (I will try and find this out)
-Has fancy side marker. Sterling silver ring with abalone inside the ring.
-The tuners, switches and bridge were custom plated in 24K gold.
-The knobs are custom made solid Ebony with abalone markers.
-The guitar has piezos.
-I am not sure which hummers are in there. Could be Timtones.
This guitar is
the same body shape and feel as my own main personal instrument. The difference
is this one
is nice......very nice. I wish I could afford to buy it. It makes me very happy
just to look at the images. The image
below reminds me of how fortunate I was to be able to do this kind of work for
so long. I don't miss it really, but
I am grateful for it.
I will post any
additional info I get from the seller. Please contact
me if you are interested at all.
