These images were taken over a two day/ two night camping and sailing trip on my local Christina Lake. B.C Canada
We had perfect sailing breezes all weekend.
My old buddy Ron.
Perhaps the best sheltered bay on the lake. Axel Johnson campground. A government / forest service campsite. Boat access only.
We arrived Sunday night so we had the campsite....and the lake to ourselves.
Quiet evenings. Hear the noise? Birds, chipmunks and Loons. Jumping Bass.
Playing with these shots. Can you figure out how I did this? No flash used.

The Christina Lake Poltergeist....

Morning breeze.

Our camp was overrun with butterflies of all colours and sizes. For some reason they seemed to like congregating on the charcoals in the fire pit. Otherwise, they flew all around us the entire time we were there. Airbourne flowers.

Stronger winds the second afternoon. Steady. For hours it blew no less than 10 knots with sustained periods of 12-14knots. Perfect casual conditions for this little boat.

A very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Two old friends, wind, water, beer and butterflies. The weather was perfect at 20 to 30C. (60 - 80F)

This is Christina Lake from the highway above. Looking West about 280 degrees This is mid-lake at it's widest part and extends another five miles in either direction. Lots to explore and lots to look at. This year has been awesome steady winds. Warm weather and warm water.
