January 2010.
Greetings all.
I am now doing stringed instrument repair, alteration and modification. Give me a call or email.
It has
almost been two years that I have been enjoying my life as an instructor at
a local collage
here in Kelowna.
I am the one and only instructor for Apprenticeship Cabinetmaking / Joinery
teaching all four years of theory and shop skills. The apprentices are based
in British Columbia.
We have been working on a new full time Studio Woodworking Program for folks
from anywhere in the world. There may even eventually be some luthery or guitarmaking
workshops happening. If you are in
the Okanagan area and want to know more, click here.
As much as I loved making custom instruments for folks, I was really in need
of a change. Something more challenging. It is one thing to be able to build
a 'thing', it is quite another skill to help someone else understand that
same process.
Things are going well (thanks for all who email and
ask) and I have the challenge I was seeking.
In the meantime, Timtones seems to be trading hands on a regular basis. As
long as that happens I will be here to aid in adoption of my old friends.
Check back here now and again to see what's for sale.
Anyone with a Timtone for sale please contact me.
Best Regards, TT

These are the last two Timtones I made in Grand Forks.
One is for David Macblane. I believe this is his fourth or fifth TT. A Modified Blue Moon.
....and this one is for Chris Lee in Taiwan. SH-1
